ONE ASSOCIATION. A SHARED COMMITMENT.WILDLIFE, HABITATS, LOCAL TEAMS
01 / WHY WE ACT
Their future starts
on the ground.
A wild animal needs a living habitat. And people equipped to protect it.
Africanimals Defenders supports the protection of African wildlife in its natural environment. Our priority is to support local teams and authorities, particularly by equipping them for conservation work.
How we work
WILD. ALIVE. FREE.
This is their home.
Let’s keep it that way.
From savannas to forests, from large mammals to the smallest species: every life matters.
02 / OUR AREAS OF ACTION
Let’s protect them.
Help us protect them.
Alongside those working in the field, every contribution can make a difference. Equipment, time and skills: let’s help local teams protect wildlife and the habitats it depends on.
Care & rehabilitate
Support organisations caring for injured or orphaned animals, with a return to the wild whenever possible. Help these teams access resources suited to the needs of the animals in their care.
Preserve habitats
Encourage the restoration of natural environments and the protection of migration corridors, working with local communities. Preserve the spaces where animals find water, food and the freedom to move.
Educate & inspire
Share conservation knowledge with schools and the public. Help people understand the challenges and get involved. Share knowledge and nurture lasting care for the natural world from an early age.
Research & monitor
Support research and wildlife population monitoring to guide action around the needs of each species. Better understand their movements, habitats and the threats they face so we can protect them more effectively.
Build lasting partnerships
Connect associations, authorities, businesses and field teams to share resources and develop joint responses. Bring local needs together with people willing to help, building useful and lasting partnerships.
03 / A PAN-AFRICAN COMMITMENT
One continent.
So many lives to protect.
From north to south, from islands to open landscapes: our declared scope of action covers Africa’s 54 countries.
Local projects and needs will shape the campaigns presented here.

Donations and memberships supporting concrete needs.
The association relies on donations and membership contributions from its supporters. Our campaigns aim to bring this support together around identified conservation causes and projects.
